The Armstrong Gold Maple is a great tree for “tight” spots. Its columnar growth habit keeps it around 12-15ft wide while allowing it to grow 40ft tall. Armstrong Gold is a very compact maple that’s suitable for parkways, parking lots, or garden specimens. Glossy green leaves turn to a yellow-orange in the fall. The Armstrong Gold Maple is considered a ‘rapid’ grower.
