Plants We Love
Chicagoland can be a harsh environment for a plant to “grow up in.” We’ve gathered our favorite plants we use in our area to help get you inspired for your new landscape project while also making an informed decision on plant selection!
Our Process
The journey to your new outdoor living dreamscape begins by filling out our form or
contacting our office at (708) 389-8119. Here’s what to expect as your project progresses.
estimate meeting
A day and time that is most convenient for you will be set with one of our estimators or designers for an initial appointment. This will allow us to better understand how you envision the final look of your project. Since every home and space is different, we may also be able to make recommendations, adjustments, or improvements to help enhance your project at this time.
It is helpful to have a copy or photograph of your Plat of Survey prepared for our designer to bring with them back to our office.
This meeting typically lasts around an hour.
Step 2 – DESIGN AND
ESTIMATE PREPARATION
Our designers will begin to work on a CAD rendition of your project. Carefully choosing proper plant material for your home’s microclimate, recommending paver materials and layouts, and designing low voltage landscape lighting, a full estimate (broken down by areas/sections discussed during your initial meeting) will be prepared.
If your project warrants a 3D rendering, one will be prepared and presented during your follow up meeting. During your follow up appointment any changes to the initial design and estimate will be addressed and resubmitted to you for approval. Once approved, and with the payment of a deposit, your project will be added to our queue and scheduled as soon as possible.
This stage will take anywhere from one to two weeks depending on the scope and size of your project.
Step 3 – installation
Upon the scheduling of your project, you will be notified (weather permitting) of a start date. Our experienced crews take it from there.
A member of the Quinn family is nearly always on site during construction to ensure a smooth and stress free experience during your installation.
Upon completion, you’ll be notified of care instructions for your new plants, patio, firepit, and any other items involved in your project.
Step 4 – enjoy!
Now that your project is completed, there’s nothing left to do but enjoy your new dreamscape!
Follow the care and watering instructions (reach out to us if you have any questions!), purchase your new outdoor furniture, and schedule all your social functions knowing that your friends, relatives, and neighbors are sure to be impressed by your new back and/or front yard!
