When the Sun Goes Down
did you know?
Initial Meeting
Our customer met with us to discuss a new Outdoor Living area for their home in Palos Heights.
They knew they wanted a Paver Patio, Seatwall, Firepit, and some kind of shaded covering for the patio area due to the extreme heat given off from the afternoon sun.

Design and Install
Working with a limited distance between the back of the home and the neighbors yard, our designers spread out the patio entertainment area, incorporated the firepit into the seatwall (to provide added square footage), provided a dedicated area for the grill, and introduced the family to our Carpentry Subcontractor for the Pergola.
For the walkway, we decided to add a few “curves” so as not to simply extend the straight concrete walkway from the front….but provide a recognizable transition from front to back.
To dress up the entertainment area, we wrapped the pillars of the pergola with matching Unilock brick.
Incorporating low voltage landscape lighting and a fresh install/redesign of both the front and back landscape plantings provided this family with a completely fresh Outdoor Dreamscape for many decades to come.

Lisa S. had recently moved into a charming home in a quiet suburban neighborhood and wanted to make a statement with her landscaping. She envisioned lush greenery, vibrant seasonal flowers, and a well-designed walkway that would complement her home’s architecture. After researching local landscaping companies, she decided to trust William Quinn & Sons with the job.
